Wecome to the Strathcona Remote Control Flyers Association (SRCFA)

SRCFA is a family-oriented, non profit society and charter member of the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada ( MAAC ). As of April 1, 2023, we have a Site Operating Certificate (see PDF below) which binds us to MAAC and Transport Canada regulations governing model aircraft and quadcopters. 

SRCFA is a dedicated group of individuals whose main purpose is to safely

explore the many facets of model aviation. Whether you own an aerobatic scale war bird or a beginner's trainer model, our club and its field offer all you need to learn, fly and have fun. Come to our field at Strathcona Science Park on 17th Street and see how enjoyable and rewarding this hobby can be.

Our field is available for Corporate drone training and practice.

Flying any model over 250 grams is governed by Transport Canada, with regulations that require a licence, model registration and more. The experienced pilots at SRCFA will help you navigate all of these requirements.
